K - Plug-in Relays
Octal and square base relays have a 12 Amp rating and are suitable replacements for popular
competitor 2 and 3 pole relays. They utilize industry standard socket and pin-out arrangements
and are available with flange housings and magnetic latching mechanisms.
R - S14, SD14 Miniature Plug-in Relays
Ice-cube style, miniature relays carry or switch loads of 5 Amps or less. An optional bifurcated
contact design enables low level current control and monitoring. This relay class offers a
hermetically sealed version for Class I, Division II applications.
R - S4, SD4 Miniature Plug-in Relays (higher power rating)
This version of the RS relays is rated up to 15 Amps and is available in contact configurations
ranging from 1 pole up to 4 poles. These are smaller than Type K relays and can be used for
applications with smaller space constraints.
KA - Alternating Plug-in Relays
The new 12 Amp KA Alternating Relay is designed to minimize pump and motor wear by equalizing run
time between parallel components in a multi-pump system. Features include available dual voltage coils (except 240 VAC),
a toggle switch for load control, dual LEDs, and an optional cross-wired version for extra load capacity.
C - Power Relays
The open-style contactors provide a low cost solution rated for 30 Amps. They can handle up to 2
HP and are ideally suited for controlling small single phase motors and other light loads such as electric heaters,
pilot lights or audible signals.
Installation and Operational Benefits
