Latching & Sequencing Relays
Latching relays can be considered energy-saving relays due to the fact that power is not required to maintain contact closure. Applications using general purpose relays (such as pumps, compressors, fans and solar powered circuits) could use a fraction of the utility power by switching to a latching relay.
The Magnecraft range features three kinds of latching relays: magnetic, mechanical and impulse sequencing. The range also features an alternating relay designed for duplex pumping systems.

711 Series impulse sequencing relay used for load sharing or toggling ON/OFF of the load. No need to redirect the polarity of the input in order to change and maintain states |

712 Series alternating relay used to equalize pump run time for duplex pumping systems. The solid state alternating circuit drives an internal electromechanical relay. A continuous power source and control switch are required |

755 Series magnetic latching relay with octal base, operates by using a pulsed input. A permanent magnet maintains the last position until a redirected second pulse moves the contacts back to the original state |
